The Dream Pop paper pack is only available to customers in May so get this wonderful paper pack while supplies last.  It is an awesome pack of paper that you will love.  Just $10 with a $35 purchase and it includes 12 printed papers and 12 solid papers.  The solid papers have a raised clear design on them that is new and exciting.  You have to see it for yourself!  The Damask Divas CTMH team decided to have an extra May blog hop just to celebrate this paper pack.  You can find the Damask Divas main blog here.

If you got here from Roberta’s blog you are in the right place!

I created a cute card to inspire you.  I love the pink elephants!  I had a rub on that says “remember when…” in my stash and since elephants never forget, it was a perfect theme for the card.  I used the Artiste cartridge and the card on page 58 cut at 8″.  I put the reverse of the pink elephant on the inside to show through the window.  I also put another piece of that on the back inside of the card to write a message about what is being remembered.  I also added the cut strip from the floral page to make a border on the front of the card.

And here is the back of the inside of the card where writing can be added to the card.

Damask Divas May Blog Hop with CTMH Claire paper

Welcome to our May blog hop featuring the Claire paper pack from Close to my Heart.  I am also hosting the give away this month so be sure to leave a comment on the Damask Divas site for a chance to win the March Stamp of the Month – Floral Happiness.  If you arrived to my blog from Teri Hanson’s blog, you are in the right place.  You can always return to Damask Divas if you get lost or if you want to start from the beginning.

I used the pretty chevron pattern in the Claire packet and the Floral Happiness stamp set to create a large Thank You card for a group of coworkers who gave me gifts to celebrate my recent retirement.  It is for the management team as a group so I thought this 5 1/4 by 8 1/2 size would be great.  I used the Thanks stamp to add the greeting.  I cut the chevron paper to size and used my ATG adhesive tool to glue it down to the card base.  I stamped the Thanks stamp on colonial white card stock and glued that in the center.

Here is a close up of the larger rose in the upper left corner of the card.  I used the Smoothie ink pad for the flowers and the Topiary ink pad for the leaves.  I did second generation stamping on the bottom layer (ink the stamp then stamp once on scrap paper, then stamp again on your card paper to get the lighter tone).  The top layer is first generation right from the ink pad.  I stamped the flowers and leaves then cut them out and glued them to the card.  After that I put some light colored glitter glue on the darker areas of the flowers and leaves to give it some sparkle but let the color show through.

Color Dare Challenge #37 Juniper CTMH Paper

I needed a Thank You card for a co-worker who gave me a beautiful flower arrangement for my retirement.  I decided to give it a go for the Color Dare Challenge and use Juniper as the primary color for my card.

And here is the card I made.  I embossed the Juniper paper and layered it onto a neutral tan and the card base is Colonial White.  The covered button is from the Chantilly assortment.  I have not used Juniper for other projects but find I really like how this came to together.  I hope you are inspired by this color too!  Happy Crafting!
