Here is a card I made for my husband’s friend who is retiring.  He is retired military so I used a red, white, blue and gold theme.  It is on an 8.5 x 11 white piece of card stock folded in half so the pinwheels would fit nicely.

I hope this inspires you to make some pinwheels of your own.  The stamp set coordinates with the Artiste Cricut Cartridge exclusive to Close to my Heart and the cuts include the  middle hole in the pinwheel, or you can just stamp and cut around the images and put holes in the middles.
