Damask Divas June Hop Later Sk8r and Tommy

Welcome to the Damask Divas June Blog Hop.   If you came here from Sharon’s blog, you are in the right place.  You can always start over or from the beginning at the Damask Divas site. This month I made a Fathers’ Day card using Tommy and a scrapbook page featuring my beautiful grand-daughter Annabelle.

I made a double-pocket card for my father-in-law since we always tuck some money in a card for him.  There are a lot of tutorials on the Internet on how to make the pocket cards.  I made a tag with the same paper pack to tuck in the front pocket and the $ will go in the back pocket.  The Tommy papers are so appropriate since he was in the Coast Guard.  I cut the words “smooth sailing” off the strip from one piece of paper.  A simple card but bright and cheery.  It is a standard A2 card at 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 inches.

This is my favorite photo of Annabelle and I wrote that on my journaling card with the year the photo was taken so I could remember.  I cut 1 1/4″ circles on the Cricut and used the Urban Alphabet stamp set to stamp the letters GIRL POWER under the photo.  I used the pink zipper ribbon to pull out the pink in the shoes and shirt and also used the Cotton Candy ink pad to stamp the letters.
